SAP S/4 HANA Functional - PP/QM - Pharma Background

Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced SAP PP/QM Functional Consultant with 6–8 years of expertise to support a Company Code Rollout (Greenfield) implementation project on ECC for a leading pharmaceutical client. The role also involves preparation for a future S/4HANA conversion, requiring awareness of the S/4HANA landscape and delta changes. Candidates with a pharma background are mandatory. The position is based in Hyderabad, with occasional travel to Ahmedabad as per project needs (expenses borne by client).
Must Have Skills (Mandatory):* 6–8 years of SAP ECC functional consulting experience.* SAP PP expertise: process & discrete manufacturing (pharma focus preferred), BOM, routing, work centers, production versions, MRP, batch management, shop floor control, PP-PI.* SAP QM expertise: quality planning, inspection lot processing, results recording, notifications, certificates, and audit trails.* Strong integration knowledge with MM, PP, and batch management.* Awareness of S/4HANA changes such as simplified MRP, Fiori apps, embedded analytics, and inspection lot handling.* At least one end-to-end implementation or rollout project experience.* Proven knowledge of pharma domain processes and regulatory compliance.* Strong documentation and communication skills.* Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage client stakeholders.
Good-to-have Skills (Optional):* Exposure to SAP Activate methodology.* Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and testing tools.* GxP validation documentation and compliance awareness.* Prior experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences projects.
Qualifications & Experience:* 6–8 years of relevant SAP functional consulting experience.* Bachelor’s degree in Science/Technology or equivalent.* Mandatory pharma industry background.* Willingness to travel to Ahmedabad when required (expenses covered by client).
