Career Development Officer (25260188)
The University is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Career Development Officer to support the operation of our career development programs and employment services for students. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving career success and enhancing employability outcomes for students at the university.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute various recruitment activities and career programs, including recruitment talks, local and non-local internship programs, networking events, Mainland and overseas career exploration trips, mentoring schemes, and employability skills training;
- Coordinate and engage with key stakeholders, including employers, students, faculties, trainers, and program partners, to enhance and strengthen long-term employability outcomes;
- Promote events and programs through formal channels such as websites, social media, email marketing, and exhibitions;
- Prepare marketing materials and finance/data reports as required;
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the team/department; and
- Perform various ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisors, contributing to the overall success of the team/department.
Requirements:
- A recognized bachelor’s degree with at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience;
- User-focused with strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is preferred;
- Excellent organisational skills with strong digital literacy;
- Self-motivated and a good team player with a high level of attention to detail;
- A passion for working with students and engaging with employers and industry partners; and
- Prior experience in event organizing and/or event marketing is an asset.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
