  • Location:  N. America (Remote)

Position Overview:

The ICAM DevOps Engineer will support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) in implementing and sustaining Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities aligned with the Department of Defense (DoD) ICAM and Zero Trust (ZT) strategies. This mid-level role requires hands-on engineering expertise across the full lifecycle of ICAM capability delivery—from architecture and deployment to operational sustainment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Capability Pre-Deployment:

  • Support architecture design and engineering planning
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align ICAM solutions with DoD ZT strategy

2. Capability Deployment:

  • Execute implementation plans for ICAM capabilities
  • Configure, integrate, and troubleshoot ICAM-related software tools
  • Ensure documentation is updated to reflect deployed configurations

3. Operational Sustainment:

  • Develop and implement sustainment measures and best practices
  • Provide ongoing support and optimization of ICAM systems
  • Maintain documentation for operational procedures and updates

4. Domain Expertise & Software Focus Areas:

  • Provide engineering support in alignment with DoD ICAM and ZT strategies
  • Demonstrate direct experience in implementing, configuring, and managing ICAM-related software tools (specific tools to be listed in detailed requirements)
  • Collaborate with DDSB and other stakeholders to ensure secure and scalable identity and access solutions
   

Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active DoD clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • 5+ years of experience in ICAM and DevOps engineering roles
  • Strong understanding of DoD ICAM and Zero Trust frameworks
  • Experience with relevant ICAM software tools (e.g., SailPoint, ForgeRock, Okta, Ping, etc.)
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting DHA or other DoD healthcare environments
  • Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, Security+, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, DoD Cloud)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
