As a Financial Project Controller at Nokia, your core mission is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of project financials while driving performance improvements across customer projects. By managing end-to-end project accounting and upholding the highest standards of compliance and controls, you play a pivotal role in safeguarding our financial integrity. Your contributions not only support individual project success but also align with Nokia’s broader mission to innovate and deliver exceptional telecommunications solutions, enabling connectivity and enhancing lives around the globe.
- Oversee end-to-end financial controlling for customer projects, serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain project setup in the ERP system to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Collaborate with Project Managers (PMs) and PMO to interpret financial impacts on project actuals and forecasts.
- Evaluate updates in accounting treatment for projects during execution and prepare materials for necessary approvals.
- Ensure projects adhere to Revenue Recognition Board decisions and compliance with Nokia accounting principles.
- Manage the correctness of actual reporting on sales, costs, and balance sheet items.
- Provide financial insights and documentation to internal and external auditors regarding project financials.
- Support cross-functional teams to drive performance improvements and enhance project financial accountability.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related discipline
- Expert skills in corporate processes and tools
- Fluent command of business English (both written and spoken)
- 3-5 years of professional experience in Controlling at an international company
It would be nice if you also had:
- Strong knowledge in Financial Accounting, Planning, Reporting & Analysis
- Good presentation skills and ability to interact with financial service recipients
- Expertise in ERP, IFRS, and RRB policy
- Good knowledge of Nokia business and business drivers
