What’s the role?

As a Lead Business Analyst, you’ll perform and lead business analysis tasks for the Consumer Finance Transformation Delivery team.

  • Define and lead the associated scope in alignment with the project objectives, desired business outcomes, and capabilities being delivered for large projects; demonstrate an understanding of the agreed value outcomes.
  • Manage stakeholder resistance or conflict to build effective working relationships that support successful outcomes; offer guidance and direction to team members.
  • Identify, select, and manage resources within a consolidated model that considers required capabilities, hybrid roles, spans of control, and levels of experience for large and complex projects or programs; provide support and leadership to others.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of requirements throughout large-scale projects independently. Demonstrate the ability to structure and package requirements within complex workstreams, achieving consensus and formal approval without external direction.
  • Deliver clear and impactful messages by tailoring the medium, audience, and content to suit the context; provide mentorship and guidance to others in communication best practices.

What do I need?

  • Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Business Analyst working in large scale complex environment.
  • The ability to lead and influence the team whilst delivering on time and on target with competing priorities. 
  • Extensive experience in business process improvement, data and systems analysis, and business case development.
  • Experience in Consumer finance with specific Credit Card or Personal Loans- essential.
  • Strong understanding of both strategic and operational aspects of technology and business systems.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and practices, particularly within the financial services sector.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Experience with leading workshops.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments where responsibilities and priorities may vary.
