KPMG is currently seeking a Consultant with instructional design background for our Consulting practice.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or an MBA from an accredited college/university
- 5-7 years of experience working in the field of Instructional Design and Learning and Development
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, and rapid authoring tools such as Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, and VYOND
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly establish a rapport with colleagues and clients
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Key Competencies And Skills:
- Ability to design, develop and deliver new age learning modalities, such as gamified learning, microlearning, mobile learning would be an added advantage.
- In-depth knowledge and experience to identify, select and recommend a variety of training modalities, learning strategies and technologies for a learning solution.
- Ability to apply proven learning methodologies and emerging technologies for adult learning.
- Proficient in Instructional Design models, theories and Bloom’s taxonomy and have the ability to apply these in all ID tasks.
- Proficient in rapid authoring tools such as Articulate / Captivate / Lectora / Camtasia and SAP Enable Now / WalkMe etc. and be comfortable with client proprietary authoring tools (The candidate should be aware of the technical functionalities and limitations of these tools.)
- Exceptional design and writing skills along with strong editing and reviewing skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Together with the Functional Manager and Subject Matter Experts, understand the business problem, target audiences, learning needs, and develop learning and change objectives to implement in the proposed learning solution.
- Effectively collaborate with the client team to identify the solution approach and design, and work through the design, development, and delivery phases.
- Support the Functional Manager to develop/identify and take client buy-in on Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) measures for the project (Language Style guide, Guidelines, Checklists, templates, branding guidelines etc.) based on the project requirements.
- Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) and develop the training curriculum.
- Develop high-level and detailed content outlines as per the curriculum.
- Develop and review training deliverables as per the agreed upon quality standards and ensure that the deliverable quality is as per the project quality parameters and industry standards.
- Provide team members clear and effective feedback based on your reviews with the intent to develop their instructional design skills.
- Collaborate with the different internal and client stakeholders to design and develop the relevant and effective training deliverable.
- Ensure that the project meets all productivity targets as per the project plans.
- Identify and share the risks with the Project Leads/Functional Manager to discuss possible solutions/mitigations/alternatives.
