Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Deployment Specialist to support a government contract involving the deployment and sustainment of the DMSAT (Defender Mobile Situational Awareness Tool) program. The Deployment Specialist will be part of a two-person team responsible for working directly with U.S. Air Force bases to assess mission-specific requirements, customize DMSAT systems, and oversee successful installations. The role also includes training Airmen on the operation and maintenance of the DMSAT equipment.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with base personnel to understand site-specific requirements for DMSAT installations.
Configure, customize, and validate DMSAT systems to align with mission needs.
Oversee and coordinate on-site installation of DMSAT equipment.
Conduct hands-on training sessions for Airmen, ensuring effective knowledge transfer on system operations and maintenance.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
Prepare and maintain deployment documentation, installation reports, and training materials.
Ensure compliance with all contractual, safety, and security requirements.
Work closely with internal team members, government stakeholders, and Air Force representatives to ensure mission success.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Electronics, Communications, or related field; or equivalent military/technical experience.
3+ years of relevant technical field experience (military or contractor experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of electronic systems, communications equipment, or IT infrastructure.
Ability to train and communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
Active DoD Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain and maintain one).
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.
Must be a US citizen
Must pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience working with Air Force systems or defense-related deployment projects.
Familiarity with satellite communications systems or ground terminal equipment.
Experience writing technical manuals, SOPs, or training documentation.
