Research Assistant I / II

Research Assistant I/ II in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (Ref: 533129) to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline with good communication skills and relevant experience in molecular biology, cell culture and in microscopy techniques.  They should also be highly motivated, and able to work independently and as a team in the research laboratory.  The appointee will provide laboratory support for banking clinical specimens such as blood samples, maintain good documentation of data, contribute to routine laboratory running and perform other laboratory and administrative duties as assigned in Dr. A.K.S. Chiang’s lab.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview.
