A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an operation manager at Jangan Plant in MSD Korea, you will partner with Sales(EL&GMF) team and TechCenter, Finance, HR, Procurement, HSE teams to cooperate the Plant operations (Production, SCM, Quality management and WST, Facility management) work.
In this role, you will report to the Rajesh Kallickal, VP Operations of MSD.
- Principal Responsibilities:
- • Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s)
- to meet production goals, quality, delivery and cost objectives
- • Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency,
- materials supply, sales forecast and production ramp planning
- • Plans and administers procedures and budgets for whole plant operation
- • Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor
- • Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function
- • Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas
(Production management, SCM, QM, FM, WST)
- Required Skills:
- • Bachelor’s degree required
- • Master’s Degree preferred
- • 8+ years of related experience required
- Related Production management, Cost management & Information management experience or knowledge background preferred
- Fluent English communication skill required
- Leadership, Responsibility, Positive thinking mind preferred
- Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
- • Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
- • Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
- • Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
- • Must be able to exchange accurate information & reporting
- • Operates in a professional office and/or laboratory/manufacturing environment
- • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
- • Dedication to safety management to mitigate hazards including handling chemical,
mechanical and electrical hardware, gas, water, and heat,..etc
