Job Summary

The Senior Manager will act as team leader to lead business analysis for compliance and regulatory systems, serving as system owner of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) system, FATCA and CRS modules. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading system development and configuration changes in response to regulatory or rule changes, ensuring the quality of ingested data, and driving continuous improvement in processes.

The Job

• Serve as the system owner of the AML system (FCRM), FATCA and CRS modules, overseeing its development, maintenance, and performance
• Lead system development and configuration changes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Ensure the quality and integrity of data ingested into the compliance / regulatory systems, identifying and addressing any data quality issues
• Collaborate with Compliance and Operations functions to design and implement effective controls and monitoring systems
• Work with other teams in Operations to conduct thorough analysis of data and trends to identify potential risks and areas for improvement
• Drive continuous improvement in processes through the identification and implementation of innovative solutions
• Create and maintain complete system implementation documentation/records including business requirement documents, test plan and signoff for audit purposes
• Timely resolve production issues and apply lesson-learned

The Person

• Bachelor's degree in computer, information technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certification (e.g., CAMS) is a plus
• 10-12 years’ experience of life insurance business analysis experience, with over 3 years in management; strong background in regulatory and compliance system improvements
• Knowledgeable in AML, FATCA, CRS; strong grasp of New Business and Policy Administration processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proactive, Detail-oriented, accurate, and effective under pressure
• Experience with SQL and database management
• Knowledge of data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
• Familiarity with data quality management and data governance practices
• Understanding of AML transaction monitoring and case management systems
• Ability to work with various data formats and sources, ensuring data integrity and quality
• Proficiency in AML systems, including system configuration and development is a plus
