About The Role

As a Business Analyst responsible for internal business applications, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation, maintenance, and optimization of key software systems within our organization. Your focus will be on supporting projects related to Salesforce, NetSuite, Gainsight, Cloud Coach, and other similar platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive efficient and effective use of these applications. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering and project planning for various internal business applications, including Salesforce, NetSuite, Gainsight etc. 
  • Define project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria. 
  • Coordinate with technical teams, project managers, and subject matter experts to ensure smooth project implementation. 
  • Act as a main point of contact for internal stakeholders, including business users, department heads, and executives. 
  • Understand their requirements, pain points, and desired outcomes related to the applications and translate those into ticketed, workable items 
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and changes effectively. 
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement, configure, and customize Salesforce, NetSuite, Gainsight, Cloud Coach, and other applications. 
  • Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and enhancements with the appropriate teams. 
  • Manage, prioritize, and track tickets for issues, feature requests, and enhancements in tools like Jira 
  • Ensure solutions align with business processes and user needs through thorough QA, testing, and UAT 
  1. Change Management and Training: 
  • Develop change management strategies to facilitate user adoption. 
  • Create documentation and training materials and conduct user training sessions. 
  • Address user queries and provide ongoing support.
  • Help to develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and documentation of decisions. 
  • Monitor project performance against key metrics. 
  • Seek opportunities to optimize processes, enhance system functionality, and improve user experience. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to business applications. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration). 
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) an asset. 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management, specifically related to internal business applications. 
  • Experience in managing projects involving Salesforce, NetSuite, Gainsight, Cloud Coach, or similar platforms. 
  • Strong, clear written and verbal communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proactively collaborate across departments and with external partners. 
  • Change management expertise and experience driving user adoption. 
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus. 
  • Fluent with project management tools, including Jira. 
  • Ability to “think like a user” that informs your work throughout a project from initial requirements to change management
