About This Opportunity

We are inviting applications from experienced and talented Lecturers or Senior Lecturers to join our School of Psychology to contribute to the School’s profile in teaching and research. We welcome applications from candidates across a range of psychology disciplines relevant to our programs of study.

We are particularly interested in individuals who have a diverse teaching portfolio, including experience in teaching large, dynamic classes, whose expertise is broad, and who can contribute to a wide range of teaching needs within the School. In terms of research, we are looking for candidates whose work complements and enhances our existing research strengths.

This opportunity is being offered at Academic Level B or Level C commensurate with the successful candidate's skills and experience, in accordance with the University's Criteria for Academic Performance

As a Teaching and Research Lecturer (Level B), you will have the opportunity to further your expertise and growing profile in teaching, research and service and engagement. At this level, you will coordinate courses, contribute to student supervision, develop partnerships and aspire to achieve national recognition in your field.

As a Teaching and Research Senior Lecturer (Level C), you will be able to leverage your established record of achievement in teaching (including clinical teaching, where appropriate), research and service and engagement. At this level, you will lead and mentor other staff, have an active and effective record of supervising Higher Degree by Research students successfully to completion as principal supervisor. You will develop new, innovative courses and programs and will maintain a strong track record of publications and grant funding.
