Sr. Specialist Customs

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

To accomplish operational activities of the customs department in order to offer a world class level of service and support relating to customs entries, declarations and duty management for all imports.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Ensure the accurate and timely submission of all customs entries and reports

 

• Maximise savings through SLA agreements and efficient duty management controls

 

• Ensure Data Integrity between customs system and SAP is maintained at a high level

 

• Provide processes / procedures to support any changes made by Customs

 

• Develop new processes / procedures, present to management team and implement

 

• Maximise availability by ensuring efficient keying and/or release of inbound stock within SLA

 

• Responsible for all customs declarations, per month duty and VAT payments                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

Key Relationships:

 

•  External partners such as freight forwarders and custom brokers.

 

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

 

• University degree or equivalent education required.
• Broad and deep theoretical understanding of functional area (Argentina Customs procedures).
• Minimum 2 years-experience in job or job function.
• Data Analytics knowledge (Power BI - intermediate-advanced).
• English (advanced).

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
