JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial operations, planning, strategy, and performance of U.S. sites. This role manages financial planning, analysis, and costing/estimating functions for U.S.-based teams, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. The position plays a key role in driving financial performance to support the company’s strategic objectives.

The Senior Manager partners closely with the COO, VP of Programs, and General Managers of U.S. production sites to meet business planning requirements and financial targets. This is a highly impactful role with the opportunity to shape the financial health and strategic direction of the organization, contributing directly to its overall success.

  • Lead the U.S.-based FP&A and Cost Estimating team to deliver strategic and financial support to site operations.
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the COO, CFO, Site General Managers, and VP of Programs, delivering financial insights and recommendations that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans for the U.S. sites.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Drive the standard cost process and actively support the cost estimating function across both sites.
  • Prepare accurate, timely financial reports and presentations for corporate and local leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, GAAP, and applicable local regulations.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure reporting integrity.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and operational performance.
  • Monitor and control expenditures, ensuring financial discipline across all cost centers.
  • Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a high-performance culture with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with site leaders and departments to align financial goals with operational strategies.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics code.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment, adhering to company policies.
  • Contribute team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Protect the confidentiality of the company’s information and products.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
  • MBA or professional finance certification is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity, demonstrating strong leadership and team development.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of a wide range of finance and accounting processes, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and accounting systems; able to quickly adapt to new technologies and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated reliability, strong numerical aptitude, and a data-driven mindset.
  • Skilled in team coordination, leadership, and employee development, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.
  • Experience with group company reporting and intercompany transactions.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience successfully leading and managing teams, with a focus on performance, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of operational and financial processes.
  • Proven commitment to ethical standards, professionalism, and high personal integrity.

SUPERVISION PROVIDED TO THE POSITION

  • Direction is provided for assignments in terms of desired outcome (goals), timing and budget.
  • Work is reviewed or measured in terms of meeting organizational objectives and schedules.
  • Reports to Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY

  • Manages team for adherence to organizational goals, operating policies, and budgetary guidelines. Manages team performance and is responsible for training and coaching.

  • Uses judgment to make innovative decisions that comply with instructions or pre-determined processes, methods, and/or practices.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English and German, both verbally and in writing on a high level.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Elevate Aircraft Seating offers competitive wages and benefits to recognize employees for their work. The base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.

Salary Range Transparency: $140,000 - $185,000 annually
