REICO is one of the largest service providers in commercial real estate investment and fund asset management in the Czech Republic, currently managing three funds. These include two open-ended investment funds: REICO NEMOVITOSTNÍ, the largest CEE-domiciled real estate fund, and REICO LONG LEASE, which focuses on long-term income opportunities. Most recently, the FKI REICO EPB I fund has been launched, targeting the build-to-rent segment.
Total assets under our management totals almost CZK 44 billion (EUR 1.8 bln) and are spread within all assets classes across jurisdiction of the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia with aim to enter Germany. Our clients are retail as well as large institutional investors.
Description:
Join our dynamic team as a Transaction Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in real estate transactions, such as sourcing the investment opportunities, running the whole process of the investment transactions and contributing to the strategic investment decisions of the leading mutual property fund manager in the CEE region. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in capital markets across diverse business lines and jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing of the investment opportunities for all funds REICO NEMOVITOSTNÍ, REICO LONG LEASE and FKI REICO EPB I in CEE (CZ, PL, SK, AT, D).
- Identification, screening, and comprehensive evaluation of real estate investment opportunities across multiple markets.
- Conducting cash flow modelling, market and competitive analysis, risk assessment, ESG compliance checks, and preparing investment recommendations.
- Running investment transactions from origination to successful closing following proper handover to the internal Asset Management team.
- Managing the due diligence process and coordinating external advisors (legal, technical, tax, financial, commercial).
- Resolving identified due diligence findings in cooperation with advisors and counterparties.
- Active negotiations of transaction terms and contractual documentation (SPA and related agreements).
- Providing critical insights that inform investment strategies and decision-making processes.
- Prepare internal materials for Board decision-making processes (Investment proposals, Supervisory Board documents).
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure projects and reports are completed accurately and on time
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of senior-level experience in commercial real estate transactions, combined with a solid understanding of property investment dynamics.
- Knowledge of the transaction process in commercial real estate.
- A collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to learning and embracing new challenges in a dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.
- Advanced Excel skills and solid knowledge of the MS Office.
- Experience with valuation software such as Argus or others is considered a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
