The AI & Data Division plays a critical role in driving the strategic use of AI and data across the organization. As a central hub for AI and data initiatives, the AI & Data Division ensures alignment with corporate objectives and maximizes the value of data-driven decision-making.

　

Department Overview

The AI Strategy Office (AISO), directly under the Chief AI and Data Officer (CAIDO), is responsible for the planning and execution of AI strategies. Its main roles include researching market insights, promoting AI products, and fostering cross-organizational collaboration.

Position:

Position Details

You will be responsible for managing and providing technical support to highly skilled interns, driving the growth of various AI services at Rakuten.

- Management and supervision of engineering interns

- Support for planning and development of new and existing services

- User research, market research, and competitor analysis

- Support for service requirement definition and specification creation

- Participation in meetings with development teams and designers

- Post-service release performance measurement and improvement proposals

- Other wide-ranging tasks related to service development

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Experience in implementing machine learning/generative AI

- Experience as a team leader or mentor

- Knowledge of Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.

- Japanese: Business level, English: Business level (TOEIC 800+)

- Eagerness to take on new challenges

- Interest in and knowledge of data analysis and marketing

- Internship experience at a startup or IT company
