The International Divisional Director of Sport will act as an extension of the Executive Vice President of International Sport, ensuring the implementation and execution of FCA's vision and mission across all divisional sport environments, programs, and facilities. This role involves overseeing the development of discipleship ministry, managing sport programming, and ensuring alignment with FCA's core values and standards globally.

  MINISTERIAL DUTIES These responsibilities are critical to the FCA mission, and this position plays a vital role in our ministry. FCA expects all functions and responsibilities outlined below to be carried out with a heart surrendered to serving God as a form of worship.

  • Follow a spiritual rhythm, including daily prayer and Bible study to seek the Lord's will for
  • Lead, conduct, and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and living by example so they are equipped to serve others.
  • Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly
  • Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs (see FCA's Christian Community Statement) at all times.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Cast
  • Assist the EVP of International Sport in casting vision for all sport environments, sport programs and sport facilities in the division.
  • Develop and implement necessary resources and training for staff and leaders to effectively communicate and attain this vision.

Create S.P.O.R.T (Systems, Processes, Opportunities, Resources and Trainings)

  • Oversee the development and implementation of Systems, Processes, Opportunities, Resources Trainings (S.P.O.R.T.) for staff and leaders in the division.
  • Oversee spiritual development of staff and leaders
  • Ensure the collaborative development of contextualized ministry resources for E3 and ministry programs across sport environments.
  • Lead the development and execution of sport environment training for divisional staff and divisional leaders of ISP's.

Sport Programming

  • Manage and oversee the development of sport programming (academies, teams, leagues, clubs, competitions/tournaments, camps, performance training) executed through staff and leaders.
  • Ensure sport programs are led by staff and volunteers who are missionally and theologically aligned with necessary youth protection training, ministry training, and sport training.

Facilities

  • Assist in providing oversight for the selection, construction, and improvement of international sport facilities in collaboration with the EVP of Facilities and the EVP of International Sport.
  • Provide ongoing reporting, management, and maintenance of all divisional sport facilities involving FCA.

Connect

  • Work closely with the Divisional Directors of Advancement and Administration to ensure global consistency and connectivity in ministry.
  • Create connections with the different sport environment leaders throughout the division through consistent networking.

Coach

  • Ensure ongoing coaching and support for divisional staff and leaders to strategically execute ministry across sport environments, programs, and facilities.
