General Information

As a Senior Consultant for Automated Testing in HR Systems, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving automated testing solutions for our HR Systems landscape, with a primary focus on SAP HCM and SuccessFactors environments. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through scalable and efficient test automation strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams from HR business and IT to develop and integrate automated testing into the release and change management lifecycle as well as to manage project related test execution and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review existing test concepts and strategies for HR systems and applications (e.g. SuccessFactors and SAP HCM, OpenText);
  • Define a test concept incl. test strategy with standards on test case creation, test process, test execution, test reporting;
  • Design and implement a comprehensive automated test management system with dedicated technical internal experts and external partners;
  • Assist and collaborate with HR cross-functional teams in enhancing testing processes by creating and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks primarily for SAP HCM and SuccessFactors;
  • Select and utilize an appropriate testing tool for the HR system landscape (e.g. Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft, Selenium) and according to Schaeffler strategy;
  • Integrate automated tests into existing Continuous Improvement (CI) pipelines;
  • Perform test analysis, test design, and test execution;
  • Monitor and analyze test results, generate reports, and track defects using tools like JIRA;
  • Support test strategy and planning for HR projects and releases;
  • Collaborate with HR IT architects, developers, and business stakeholders;
  • Document and report test results and derive improvement actions;
  • Provide training and documentation to team members on test automation best practices.

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable qualification;
  • Experience in both manual testing and test automation;
  • Minimun 3+ years of experience in test automation, ideally in the HR domain;
  • Solid knowledge of SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in quality assurance and test automation (functional GUI and API);
  • Experience with test automation standards, tools and frameworks (ISTQB or similar certification is a plus);
  • Understanding of HR processes and their technical implementation;
  • Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and high quality orientation;
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills;

  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
