A Requirement for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Global Procurement Catalogue and Category Officer to join our global procurement department. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring that procurement categories are aligned with spend, implemented, and updated as needed. The role also involves managing the Center of Excellence (CoE) to drive best practices and continuous improvement, as well as spearheading the digitization of procurement services
Cataloguing And Spend Analysis:
- Conduct detailed spend analysis to assist with identifying cost-savings opportunities.
- Categorize and track spend data across business units and suppliers
- Monitor compliance with procurement policies and contracts
- Generate report and dashboards for senior management
- Maintain and update the bank’s procurement catalog (list of approved suppliers & items).
- Ensure purchases follow bank policies and contracts.
- Work with finance and procurement teams to improve spending.
- Create reports showing spending trends and savings.

- Policy compliance
- Report Timeliness
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and regional procurement teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to procurement governance and compliance.
- Act as a liaison with external regulatory bodies and industry groups to stay informed of changes in regulations and best practices.
- KPI: Stakeholder satisfaction rating of 90% or higher in annual surveys.
- KPI: Number of proactive engagements with regulatory bodies and industry groups per quarter.
Center Of Excellence (Coe):
- Develop and disseminate best practice guidelines and tools through the CoE.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing through the CoE.
- KPI: Quarterly update and distribution of best practice guidelines.
- KPI: Number of cross-functional workshops and training sessions conducted annually.
Digitization Of Procurement Services:
- Implement digital tools and platforms to streamline procurement processes.
- Ensure seamless integration of digital procurement solutions with existing systems.
- KPI: Reduction in manual processing time by 30% within the first year.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related field.
- A relevant certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement governance, compliance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing procurement policies and SOPs in a global organization.
