The Centre of Excellence in Women and Child Health aims to support the introduction, piloting and scaling-up of high quality, high impact interventions to improve maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health (MNCAH) in Pakistan by harnessing the potential of both the public and the private sector, coupled with the introduction of women and girls’ empowerment interventions.

This is a grant-funded contractual position.
Job Role / Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for overall coordination of the research project which involves preparation and update of project documents, communication with collaborators and investigators, implementation of project in the field sites and compilation of various reports. Specific responsibilities include to:
- Organize, and maintain high-quality data from research studies;
- perform data cleaning, validation, and analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability;
- conduct data analysis to generate insights and highlight project performance or gaps;
- prepare professional presentations for senior management and donors using tools like PowerPoint;
- maintain consistent analytical approaches and reporting formats within and across studies;
- ensure proper management of incoming field data, including logging, entry, and processing;
- develop compliance tracking mechanisms for reporting and performance review meetings;
- provide technical support and training to field teams for data management and quality improvement;
- assist and provide support to various collaborators and stakeholders;
- writes programs to select, retrieve, manipulate, edit, and analyse data;
- review all project protocols and data collection tools to ensure that collected data meet project’s needs, statistical and scientific requirements;
- provides support for data presentation for publication of research studies results;
- keep close liaison with project supervisors, principal investigators and departmental head;
- ensures the integrity of research projects data and provide supervision for data quality assurance;
- assist data management staff in the design of study databases. As needed, review study database structures to ensure quality and consistency of data;
- provide Support in statistical workshops/seminars;
- national and international travelling as per the requirement of project.
Requirements:
You Should Have:
- Bachelor's/Master's in Statistics/ Public Health/Computer Science, Data Management, GIS, or equivalent experience;
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience;
- understanding and experience of using advance statistical techniques for the analysis of cluster randomized studies, longitudinal studies, multistage surveys and clinical trials;
- excellent Command on Statistical Packages including STATA/R/SPSS etc;
- strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities;
- proficient in Spread sheets and power point presentation;
- sound knowledge of Databases and programming;
- strong verbal and written communication skills;
- strong management / supervision skills;
- exposure to Manuscript preparation, preferably having contributed to 5 or more research publications in reputable journals.Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.This Position is Based in Quetta.
