The Department of Radiology offers a comprehensive range of highly sophisticated imaging tests and procedures that are conducted in a welcoming environment that focuses on quality and patient comfort. The diagnostic services are supported by advanced, state-of-the-art technologies like 3T MRI, 640 slice CT, Mammography, Bone density, Nuclear Imaging, Interventional services, general x-rays, etc. The department is dedicated to patient services and imaging excellence through highest professional and technological standards. The department maintains state-of-the-art technology imaging services to provide our physicians and patients with the most accurate, timely and informative results.

Responsibilities:

You Will Be Responsible To:

  • Position patients accurately for each examination, adapting techniques in accordance with patient needs and clinical history.
  • Competent in the utilization of complex and specialized imaging equipment requiring in-depth anatomical, pathological, and technical knowledge.
  • Ensure the safe handling/transferring of patients and equipment.
  • Good working knowledge of nuclear medicine, diagnostic radiology and imaging.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance thorough understanding equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and safety standards compliance.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to adapt to changing technology, protocols, and clinical situations. Must be able to keep up to date on recent trends and development through acquisition of required knowledge and competencies.
  • Required to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties as required in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in related field includes positioning, exposure settings, and image processing, to produce high-quality diagnostic images across different modalities such as X-ray, MRI, CT, PET, Nuclear Medicine, IR procedures, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy.
  • Ensure that all departmental and hospital policies, protocols and procedures are adhered to.
  • Actively participate in the departmental quality initiatives and efforts.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Urdu and English.
  • Good Interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate, maintain, and update skills and knowledge of evolving practice.
  • Inventory / Medical Surgical supplies management.
  • Strictly adhere to guidelines for Nuclear waste disposal and take corrective steps in case of any contamination.
  

Requirements:

You Should Have:

  • B.Sc. or above
  • Certificate of training for handling isotopes preferable
  • 5-8 years of related work experience.
  • Good interpersonal skills
