The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

Your new responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis of business requirements and provide appropriate system solutions. Identify, interpret, validate and document business requirements.
• Map business requirements, processes and objectives. Develop, customize and configure necessary system modifications, perform testing and document results.
• Act as the liaison between IT technical team and business functions to ensure requirements and progress are communicated accurately and timely. Work with business functions in problem solving and troubleshooting. Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
• Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues. Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements. Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
• Willingness to understand complex semiconductor processes, document them accordingly and hand over the implementation to development team.

What we look for

• Bachelor/Master or above in Microelectronics, Physics or comparable.
• Min 3 years of experience in semiconductor industry experience in both frontend and backend (LED) test.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor (LED) test, optics and electrical; requirements Engineering, Agile methodology, SQL , Oracle, Windows Server and software development basics advantageous.
• Need to be highly motivated to take initiative, assume the ownership of the applications and projects, and provide a strong interface between users and IT/vendor and a Team Player.
• Good English is mandatory.
