The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

Your new responsibilities

• Owner of the yield roadmap: rolling 12 months and be accountable that the FE/BE achieve those yield targets.
• Owner of yield: Continuously report and track yield progress against roadmap with all function.  
• Define/drive yield improvements: analyse yield detractors to the root causes, drive improvements with respective process integration and process owners 
• Owner of systems and data: Define systems and data required for yield performance, ensure quick identification of issues and root causes, kill ratio analysis and yield improvement methodologies
• Owner of product performance / spec: Safeguard product requirements and performance, technical ownership for testing, probing, AVI, etc., owner of product master data
• Owner of product cost: Owner to define the overall best way to minimize costs due to yield losses across the whole value chain
• First technical contact for Back End / Business Unit / Customer related topics    

What we look for

• Bachelors of Science or Master study of Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science
• At least 8 years of experience in Semiconductor Wafer Fab.
• Microsoft Office, Data analytic skills, Project management skills, FMEA, Statistics, 8D, 6sigma.
• Strong Process technical knowledge. Good interpersonal skills, responsible, accountable,  initiative, & able handle stress.
• Strong knowledge in Yield analysis.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team, analytical thinking and creativity.
