The Medical Assistant works collaboratively with the nursing team and primary care provider (PCP) to perform duties as directed to assist in providing basic patient care to assigned participants. Basic patient care needs will be met though both administrative and clinical duties. A MA is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Has completed an accredited Medical Assistant program that includes an externship or has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or equivalent educ/experience
- Coursework/Training: Completion of an approved phlebotomy program or other allied health program that includes phlebotomy training in its curriculum or phlebotomy training completed within 60 days of hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
- 6 months of Healthcare experience
- 6 months of Medical Assistant experience
