ME Expert Advanced PE - Advanced Technologies (F/M/X)

R&D Engineering - Electronics is responsible for the planning, development, and testing of electronic components across all Webasto business areas. The role not only involves development but also providing support during product development and fostering the independence of colleagues.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

 

• Leading sub-projects within the area of Advanced Process Engineering
• Development, testing and implementation of new production technologies for series production
• Design, planning and commissioning of production and assembly facilities in consideration of DFM
• Representation of production-related topics within the technology development process (TEP) in project teams with the relevant departments (e.g. R&D, quality, purchasing, customer groups)
• Implementation of projects in compliance with deadlines, costs/budgets, quality and customer requirements
• Continuous optimization of production processes and equipment with regard to cost, ergonomics, environmental protection and quality aspects
• Calculation of production times and costs
• Legal protection of technical development     
• Improves sustainability in the glass equipment
• Searches for competitive advantages in glass production
• Supports in trouble shooting of glass line ramp ups
• Ensure proper supplier development and inhouse production evaluation

 

Here's what you can bring to the team:

 

• High knowledge of production technologies in Manufacturing Engineering (e.g. PU, Gluing)
• High knowledge of material flow planning, ergonomics and quality methods
• High experience in planning, procurement and commissioning of production equipment
• High level of analytical thinking and technical creativity
• First project management skills     
• English is mandatory and a second language French or German is a strong asset
