SCM Team Lead Material Handler

Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. This is a cross-functional and international environment that offers performance-driven, diverse challenges and exciting projects.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

• Oversee supply chain operations for raw materials, components, and finished goods
• Coordinate delivery timelines with suppliers and production teams to meet tight automotive schedules
• Manage employee time keeping and scheduling to support operational coverage and shift planning
• Monitor customer portals (e.g., OEM platforms) for order updates, shipment confirmations, and delivery status, understanding of OEM–Tier supplier relationships
• Communicate with key customers and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate information exchange
• Maintain compliance with ISO, IATF, and industry-specific requirements
• Use lean principles and Just-in-Time (JIT) strategies to minimize inventory waste and ensure part availability
• Track performance metrics including fill rate, delivery reliability, and production line continuity
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for supply delays or quality issues
• Lead and coach team members, fostering a high-performance culture

This is what you bring to us:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous 2–5 years of supply chain experience in automotive manufacturing
• Ability to operate material handling equipment(Hi-Lo); certification may be required, Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MES tools
• Comfort with a high-velocity production schedule and tight deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and communicate effectively.
