- Responsible for acting as a key advisor to the Director on matters of security and acts as the Director designee when the Director is not available.
What you'll do
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on investigations and procedures
- Represent Corporate Security in internal, external, and industry forums
- Coordinate investigations with HR, Legal, Labor Relations, Privacy, Ethics, Cybersecurity, and external agencies
- Ensure investigative processes are thorough, consistent, and compliant with legal and corporate standards
- Produce regular reports and briefings on investigative activity and trends
- Lead and oversee team in leading after-action reviews following major incidents, threats, or investigations to identify procedural gaps and organizational vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with leaders to improve processes, controls, and procedures based on investigative insights
- Facilitate cross-functional working groups to evaluate risks, assess root causes, and develop corrective actions
- Track implementation of procedural improvements and ensure accountability for changes
- Prepare executive-level briefings, metrics, and dashboards on investigations, trends, and procedural enhancements
- Use investigation data to inform enterprise risk decisions and support broader risk mitigation strategies
- Define and update corporate security policies and investigative procedures
- Ensure investigations comply with legal, regulatory, and privacy standards throughout the review process
- Respond to urgent requests and participate in rotating after-hours and weekend on-call duty
- Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business, or relevant field
- 6 or more years of progressive experience in corporate security, investigations, law enforcement or compliance
- Strong experience conducting investigations and driving cross-functional process improvements
- Ability to facilitate after-action reviews and guide teams in root cause analysis and procedural change
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- High discretion and ethical standards when handling sensitive matters
- Experience developing security plans for risk mitigation
Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
- 10 years progressive experience in a regulated or global business environment
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)
- Professional certifications such as CPP, CFE, PCI, or similar
Skills, Licenses, and Certifications
- Ability to work extremely well under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and a professional demeanor
- Detail oriented
- Must possess strong logical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to obtain a DOD/TSA secret level clearance
