Quality Engineering Hiring student interns for writing test automation scripts to increase our automated regression test coverage for Equation product. The interns will also participate in the software development cycle by writing test cases and test execution.

• Job Description 

Under the supervision of the QA Manager, the  Intern will be involved in an integration and automation project for one of Finastra's Retail Banking product.  The intern will gain exposure on the following areas: 

• Conversion of manual test scenarios into automated test scripts 

• Execution of automated test scripts. 

• Execution of manual test cases. 

• Defect-tracking until resolution and working with developers to reproduce and resolve defects 

Requirements: 

• Knowledge in software testing and programming 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. 

• Effective verbal and written communication skills 

• Ability to work independently or within a team environment 

• Effective planning and organizational skills, with an attention to detail. 

• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think ‘out of the box’ for process improvements.
