Junior Key Account Manager

Position assignment to the WAYS Career Path Program: Entry to Expert

Job Objective

Support key account management activities with the aim of developing customer relationships and contributing to sales growth.

Description Of Main Tasks

• Support in customer acquisition and initial contact
• Assist in the set-up and maintenance of the customer network
• Participate in the preparation and follow-up of offers, including basic change management tasks
• Contribute to sales planning processes (e.g., data gathering, reporting, forecasts)
• Monitor competitor activity in collaboration with senior team members
• Support contract documentation and assist in commercial discussions
• Participate in cross-functional customer care (CC) projects under guidance of senior staff

Additional Tasks

• Support team with administrative and coordination tasks as needed
• Participate in training and development programs as part of onboarding

Skills & Competencies

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a similar field
• 0 – 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an industrial or automotive environment (internships included)
• Initial experience or strong interest in working in international environments
• Structured, eager to learn, and capable of working independently under supervision
• English at B1 – B2 level (can communicate effectively and professionally)
• Local language at B1 – B2 level (can communicate effectively and professionally)
• Functionally reports to: Sales Director
• Supported by: Key Account Manager / Senior Sales Team
• Represents: Not applicable
• Proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative
