Position Overview
Integra is seeking a Planning Manager to lead the production planning function at our Houston Manufacturing site. This role will oversee a team of production planners and drive alignment between manufacturing operations, supply chain, and program management. The Planning Manager will be responsible for ensuring effective production scheduling, material readiness, and capacity planning to meet customer demand, optimize resources, and support long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the production planning team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
- Develop and maintain master production schedules in alignment with sales forecasts, supply chain constraints, and capacity requirements.
- Ensure production plans are accurate, achievable, and synchronized with material availability, manufacturing capability, and customer delivery requirements.
- Partner closely with manufacturing, procurement, engineering, and program management teams to identify and resolve planning issues.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and reporting to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor and report key planning KPIs (schedule adherence, capacity utilization, inventory levels, etc.) and take corrective action as needed.
- Support scenario planning and long-range capacity modeling to prepare the site for new programs and forecasted workload.
- Lead SIOP (Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning) activities for the site, ensuring integration with global Integra processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing production planning, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Lead or have supported ERP implementation.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing planning systems,P6, capacity planning, and Costpoint and other ERP/MRP tools.
- APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) certification highly preferred.
- Industrial engineering background strongly desired.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and drive results through collaboration.

- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools
- Deep understanding of capacity planning, material requirements planning, and inventory optimization
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to influence across functions and levels
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution
- Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma experience a plus
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
