Your Role:
The Marketing Technology Manager is a key member of the Process Solutions Digital Marketing Leadership team, reporting directly to the Head of Digital Marketing & Operations, Process Solutions. This role is responsible for representing and advancing the unique marketing technology needs of Process Solutions within MilliporeSigma.
With a strong customer-first mindset, the Marketing Technology Manager will champion the strategic use of marketing technology to deliver seamless, frictionless experiences for our customers, while ensuring internal alignment and operational excellence. The position directly manages a team responsible for webinar, marketing automation, social listening/selling platforms, and digital governance, and is accountable for assessing, building, and developing the team’s current and future capabilities. The role also provides strategic ownership and optimization of marketing technology capabilities for Process Solutions, collaborating closely with the Life Science marketing technology team and the Salesforce team to ensure integration, alignment, and business impact.

- Champion a customer-first vision in all aspects of marketing technology, ensuring platforms and processes are designed to deliver seamless, frictionless customer experiences and improve the end-to-end customer journey
- Serve as the primary advocate for Process Solutions’ marketing technology needs, ensuring alignment with the broader Life Science marketing technology and data strategy
- Develop and execute a roadmap for Process Solutions-specific platform enhancements and new capability adoption, including personalization, AI, and data integration
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, advising on relevant adoption and innovation for Process Solutions
- Oversee and optimize the use of campaign platforms (e.g., marketing automation, webinar, social selling) for Process Solutions, driving adoption and best practices
- Ensure effective management and governance of digital platforms, maintaining compliance and quality standards
- Build strong relationships with the Life Science marketing technology team and the Salesforce team, ensuring Process Solutions’ requirements are understood and incorporated into shared platforms and processes
- Lead vendor interactions and manage relationships as they pertain to Process Solutions’ needs within shared platforms
- Possess a solid understanding of Salesforce, enabling effective collaboration, the ability to ask the right questions, and fostering deeper integration with commercial teams—especially around the lead management process
- Act as a key connector between marketing and commercial teams, supporting end-to-end lead management, pipeline visibility, and campaign-to-sales alignment
- Collaborate with data teams to influence and optimize data integration, flow, and quality across marketing and sales platforms
- Build, mentor, and manage a team focused on Process Solutions’ marketing technology and capability development
- Regularly assess team skills and capabilities, identifying gaps and training needs
- Define and track KPIs to measure platform performance, capability adoption, and business impact for Process Solutions
- Ensure all initiatives comply with data privacy and security standards
This role will be based out of Bedford, MA but will be open to remote work anywhere in the U.S.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing technology, or related roles, preferably within life sciences or B2B environments, with a focus on managerial experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience working with enterprise marketing technology platforms (e.g., SFMC) and a strong understanding of Salesforce and its role in lead management and commercial processes
- Proven ability to collaborate with commercial, data, and IT teams to drive business outcomes
- Experience with AI, personalization, and data integration in a marketing context is highly desirable
- Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advocate for business needs and influence stakeholders at all levels
Pay Range for this position: $151,400 - $227,200
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
