Job Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) contributes to and supports the delivery of a cohesive talent strategy and vision for this team, continuing to iterate and evolve our talent practices over time. The HRBP is responsible for influencing, coaching, and enabling our leaders to drive decisions on organizational design, compensation, and employee development. They are responsibilities for one or more of the following functional areas: employee relations, performance management, disciplinary action and talent acquisition. The role will typically start supporting a small number of functions or leaders, expanding as capabilities grow.

 

Essential Duties

  • Implement and champions company-wide HR programs, policies, procedures and practices, HR initiatives, and develop solutions through organizational development.
  • Function as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR-related matters.
  • Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts with fairness and consistency.
  • Support performance management process, including coaching, feedback and reviews. 
  • Partner closely with CHRO and the Business Partner Manager to coordinate support for first line managers and employees regarding guidance on policies, people processes and complex people issues. 
  • Design and implement advanced hiring methodologies, leveraging creative sourcing strategies, analytics, and innovative recruitment technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure a consistent approach to HR activities and compliance with state policies and legal requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior leadership and hiring managers, aligning recruitment efforts with business objectives. 
  • Evaluate reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.  
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. 

 

Complies with all State and Federal Banking regulatory requirements, including but not limited to: BSA, Anti-Money Laundering OFAC, CIP, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, Sexual Harassment, Information Security and privacy requirements.  This position will elevate suspicious activity to supervisory staff and/or BSA department.  Completes compliance and other technical training workshops as assigned.

Officer Title Eligibility

For qualified positions, the Bank may designate an Officer Title to an employee who seeks and/or meets defined competencies for an eligible position. This position qualifies for the officer title(s) Assistant Vice President.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Requires sitting for prolong period of time
  • Requires lifting up 25 lbs.
  • Office setting w/controlled temperature

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Preferred candidate should have 3-5 years of progressive Human Resource experience.  
  • PHR/PHR-CA Certification preferred 

 

 

As a part of the Bank’s internal control systems, employees holding sensitive positions are required to be absent from their duties for a minimum of two consecutive weeks each year. This position has been deemed to meet the test for a sensitive position, and therefore you will be required to meet the minimum absence requirement each and every year.
