Job Summary
Excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills needed to assist MD ERM, Investment Risk in evaluation and tracking of investments, monitoring and analysis of portfolio and economic/market conditions, and reporting to senior management.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring, analysis and reporting of portfolio activity including changes in exposure levels, ratings and pricing
- Report generation and stress testing using risk portfolio analytics software
- Investment tracking including newly approved and watch list
- Interaction with Investment, Operations, Accounting and Legal Teams
- Report generation and monitoring of internal and regulatory investment guidelines
- Analysis and report generation for monthly management reviews
- Analysis and data collection for special projects
- Market and economic condition monitoring, analysis, and reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 0-3 yrs of investment experience with the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of fixed income instruments.
- Quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with respect to investments and modeling.
- Ability to collect, aggregate and report data in a meaningful way.
- Experience with Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Bloomberg experience a plus.
- Must be dependable, motivated, willing to take initiative, and work independently.
- Must have strong communication skills and be able to interact across different functional groups.
- Must have strong ability to plan and organize time to meet multiple job objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar field.
