Job Description

The Department of Mathematics in the School of Sciences and Humanities invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Associate position. The area of specialization is open. This is a two-year appointment with the possibility of a two-year extension.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality research and pursue external funding opportunities
• Teach one course per semester at undergraduate or graduate level
• Supervise student research projects at both undergraduate and graduate levels
• Contribute to service and governance activities at the department, school, and university levels, including curriculum development

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

• A Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics from a recognized international institution
• A strong track record of research and scholarly publication
• University-level teaching experience
• Excellent communication skills in English
• A collegial and inclusive approach to collaboration and service
