Morgan Stanley Securitized Products Group (“SPG”) is seeking to hire an Associate to be part of its SPG COO team based in Budapest.
Team Profile: SPG provides asset-backed trading and financing solutions to institutional clients and manages a portfolio backed by a diverse range of assets including consumer loans, residential and commercial mortgages, student loans, corporate loans, etc.
We are currently seeking interested candidates to join our team based in Budapest. The successful candidate will work closely with all members of the global COO team, SPG management team, including Desk Heads and colleagues in Finance, Operations and Technology. The role requires a keen interest in the strategy and operations of the Fixed Income business and encompasses a large range of responsibilities.

You will:
- Support the COO team in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting to help SPG management decision-making
- Assist in driving business planning, business strategy and executing on key priorities
- Create meaningful analysis to aid strategic decisions
- Assist in presentations for senior management on pipeline, performance metrics and key initiatives
- Assist development of web-based management reporting tool
- Review capital and returns for transactions
You have:
- 0-3 years of professional experience in a relevant Financial Services discipline (e.g. Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Controller or Financial Modelling)
- BSc or MSc in a quantitative/finance degree (e.g. Finance, Economics and Engineering)
- Strong quantitative, analytical and modelling skills
- Pro-active and results oriented mind-set
- Strong organizational, communication and project management skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
