We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated developer with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365—preferably in modules such as Sales, Customer Service, or Marketing—and the Microsoft Power Platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small, agile team and can work independently with minimal supervision. 

 

The position focuses on back-end development with limited business consulting responsibilities. The successful candidate will contribute to a variety of internal projects across the Cleveland Clinic, supporting both patient and caregiver experiences. One of the initial key projects will involve building a Talent Community CRM to onboard over 1,000 new caregivers, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Neurological Institute expansion at our Main Campus. 

 

We value work-life balance and are committed to maintaining a standard 40-hour work week. This is a traditional Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM role, with flexibility and no planned overtime. This position works remotely with a preference for OH, NV or FL.  

 

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with at least one Dynamics 365 module (Sales, Customer Service, or Marketing), along with a solid technical background in customizing, extending, and integrating D365 using Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform, C#.NET, JavaScript, PCF, and data integration tools like SSIS, KingswaySoft, and Azure Data Factory (ADF). 

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Iterate with team members around analysis, design and development of software systems. 

  • Be responsible for developing new software and proofing/testing the development to ensure production of a quality product. 

  • Work with lead developers, lead engineers and senior developers to ensure software development and engineering standards are met. 

  • Make recommendations which yield a more cost-effective product and better streamlined workflows while supporting team strategy in development approach. 

  • Observe operational and clinical workflow and work to build solutions around observed behaviors. 

  • Help to translate clinical problems into innovative healthcare solutions. 

  • Provide technical support to other developers when project support is needed. 

  • Gather business and application specific requirements. 

  • Ensure all requirements are met as well as maintained within defined project scope and documented within documentation management system. 

  • Keep up with industry trends and bring new ideas and industry solutions to healthcare for a unique application. 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Five years of experience in software development.  

  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • ITIL Foundations Certification upon or within six months of hire

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or Engineering 

  • Experience building Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Marketing and / or Sales Apps 

  • Experience with Power Automate, Data Verse and Model Driven Apps - Build and Support 

  • Experience with hospital or medical systems 

  • Experience with Agile development processes, including regular sprints, rapid iterations and frequent user feedback 

  • Familiarity with continuous integration principles and application/platform deployment best practices, including change control processes 

  • Experience with Power Automate, Data Verse and Model Driven Apps - Build and Support

Physical Requirements:
