Job Summary:
The Security Account Manager provides leadership, direction, oversight, and accountability for a single account within the division and is the primary point of contact for the client.
The Security Account Manager regularly coordinates with client and AFS management to ensure adequate personnel staffing and compliance with all client requirements. They must be available to attend meetings and training as arranged by client and AFS management. They are responsible for day-to-day management of security officers and supervisors, hiring and on-site training of new hires, performing on-going training and quality initiatives for existing staff and ensuring client contractual KPI’s are being met.
Responsibilities:
All responsibilities are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner and in accordance with client and/or Andy Frain policies and procedures. Responsibilities may vary from location to location but will typically consist of the following:
•Serves as a key point of client contact to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service for assigned accounts; evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary corrective action in a timely manner.
•Supports security planning, assessments and surveys; reviews and updates post orders. Assists in the development of site-specific training materials.
•Oversees, coordinates and participates in the recruitment, selection, training, development and retention of high caliber employees in accordance with applicable law and Andy Frain policy.
•Prepares and coordinates security officer staffing schedules. Coordinates alternate staffing coverage in the event scheduled security officers call off. Acts to ensure client requirements are met while controlling labor costs ie. overtime.
•Become proficient in and able to operate, maintain and calibrate security screening technology to include X-ray machines and Walk Through Metal Detectors.
•Maintain and submits weekly payroll records.
•Develops Post Orders and best practices for each assigned position within the account.
•Assists in the development and administration of budget and business goals in relation to assigned account.
•Coaches employees and administers disciplinary actions as necessary and in accordance applicable laws and Andy Frain policy.
•Ensures that client and Andy Frain property are properly utilized, maintained and accounted for.
•Ensures that there is a proper inventory of uniforms, equipment and supplies.
•Reviews security reports to verify post orders and client requirements have been satisfactorily followed.
•Personally inspects all posts.
•Develop post orders and best practices for each assigned position within a designated account
•Intervenes, when necessary, in resolving personnel problems and guides counseling of Security Supervisors and Officers.
•Proactively identifies risks to employees and company assets (buildings, equipment, etc.). Plays a central role in ensuring a safe, healthy and secure workplace.
•Responsible for orientation and training of Security Officers and other personnel.
•Develop site training aids and manuals to document process or operations and provided services
•Handles all on-site and final in person interviews
•Meets regularly with client(s) to proactively address security, emergency and safety matters.
