The Sales Supervisor leads and develops the Inside Sales team to drive revenue growth and deliver exceptional customer experience. This role is responsible for supervising daily sales operations, mentoring team members, and implementing strategies that support individual and team success. The Sales Supervisor plays a critical role in aligning sales activities with broader company goals.
Reports To: Sales Manager
- Supervise and coach Inside Sales Representatives to meet or exceed performance targets.
- Deliver onboarding, product, and sales process training for new hires.
- Conduct ongoing coaching and professional development for the sales team.
- Analyze and improve sales processes and workflows for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Partner with the Customer Experience team to ensure commercial alignment and service consistency.
- Monitor sales metrics and performance indicators to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Resolve customer issues and escalations promptly to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement sales strategies and support organizational goals.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Scope of Responsibility:
This is a supervisory role that directly influences sales performance and revenue generation. Responsible for ensuring the team meets or exceeds set sales targets and customer experience goals.
- Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws. Has approval-level input regarding hiring, terminations, disciplinary actions, performance management, as well as assessing the needs of the department and/or functional area. Supervises a team of:
- Inside Sales Representatives (~2-5)
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

- High degree of professionalism, initiative, and accountability.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and implement action plans based on insights.
- High level of integrity and discretion with confidential information.
- Proficient with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience delivering training and onboarding programs.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of inside sales experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience in a sales environment.
- Experience in Business to Business (B2B) sales is a plus.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Regularly required to talk and hear, both in person and by phone or web meetings.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to read and interpret data on a computer screen or printed documents.
- Work is performed in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels, in a climate-controlled environment with heating and air conditioning.
Travel Required:
Occasional travel may be required (less than 5% of the time) for training, team meetings, or company events.
