ERP Project Manager

Hempel A/S.com

Office

Gdansk, Poland

Full Time

Are you willing to work with end-to-end program management from the project initiation to the execution? Would you like to bring Hempel on the different level by implementing the ERP solutions in the different modules from supply chain to the finance?

We are looking for an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead end-to-end ERP implementations and rollouts across our global organization. This is a key role in our Dynamics 365FO program, where you will drive complex projects, align business requirements with technical solutions, and ensure successful delivery across multiple business areas (supply chain, finance, manufacturing, logistics).

The ideal candidate combines proven ERP project leadership with a technical background. You know how to translate business needs into ERP functionality—and how to explain technical solutions to business. Your ability to navigate both worlds will be crucial in delivering value and enabling standardization across Hempel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead ERP projects and programs from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure—delivering on time, scope, and budget.
  • Act as the bridge between business and IT, ensuring mutual understanding and effective collaboration.
  • Manage stakeholders across functions and geographies, ensuring alignment on ERP requirements and priorities.
  • Drive fit-gap analysis, solution design, testing (UAT), cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks, applying a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Ensure governance, templates, and methodologies are followed consistently across ERP projects.
  • Support continuous improvement of ERP delivery processes.

What We’Re Looking For:

  •  5+ years’ of experience in managing ERP implementations, and project management (Dynamics 365FO preferred; SAP or other Tier 1 ERP valuable).
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or similar.
  • Solid grasp of ERP architecture, integrations, and cloud infrastructure (Azure experience is a plus).
  • Hands-on understanding of core business processes (supply chain, logistics, finance, manufacturing).
  • Familiarity with delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, LCS, Office 365, Visio, SharePoint.
  • Excellent communicator in English: able to explain technical topics to business stakeholders and business needs to technical teams.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills: structured, proactive, and comfortable driving results in a global setting. Experience in leading small teams would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (certifications would be a plus).
