Responsibilities

• Integrate, maintain and improve existing LLM-based NLP pipelines.
• Conduct experiments with open-source and proprietary LLMs (Gemini, GPT, LLaMA,, Claude, etc.) to validate new architectures and approaches.
• Explore, prototype, and evaluate state-of-the-art NLP methods: text embeddings, transformers, LLM fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), model compression, prompt optimization, few-/zero-shot learning, etc.
• Adapt and apply research from recent publications to practical product use cases.
• Implement MLOps best practices for NLP workflows: deployment, monitoring and evaluation of models in production.
• Collaborate closely with research scientists, product managers, and backend engineers to find the best AI-driven solutions for real business challenges and to deliver scalable AI-powered features.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and applied NLP methods.
• Solid coding skills in Python, PyTorch, HuggingFace tools, etc.
• Hands-on experience with transformers and LLMs (e.g. Gemini, GPT, LLaMA).
• Understanding of core NLP tasks: tokenization, embeddings, classification, NER, summarization, QA.
• Exposure to prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, or fine-tuning LLMs using frameworks such as Hugging Face or DSPy.
• Familiarity with data processing and evaluation metrics for NLP models.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate technical decisions clearly.
• English B2.

Nice to have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of classical NLP approaches (n-grams, CRF, TF-IDF, topic modeling) and their modern replacements.
• Experience with vector databases for RAG and semantic search.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of distributed training and model optimization techniques (LoRA, quantization, distillation).
• Experience with ML competitions (e.g., Kaggle) or hackathons.
