PRODUCTION CONTROL SUPERVISOR - PLANT 2

In conjunction with Logistics Management / Production Management/Supervision        in the development of schedules for raw materials, and manpower with respect to customer demand versus resource capabilities and availability.

Establish and maintain appropriate inventory levels within the manufacturing facility for all raw material and finished good products in support of customer demand and ship schedules.

Work with the Logistics Manager to develop schedule for scrap material using the company plan and systems.

Working with the Logistics Manager to develop and procure support based on inventory variances.

Establish and maintain Kanban throughout the plants, inclusive of warehouse

On a daily basis, investigate / correct & determine root cause of inventory variances; reporting results to Logistics, Operations and Plant managers.

Perform duties associated with physical inventory administration, final variance analysis, and implementing countermeasures for discrepancies.

Develop short-term production plan based on customer shipment schedule.

Develop strategy for replenishing raw materials and supplies from procurement within the manufacturing facility to support production using the company plan.

Develop, maintain, and initiate new part numbers in association with Hutchinson Customers, QA Department, Logistics, and Production per company plan.

Assist Engineering in maintaining accurate bill of materials per company plan.

Perform job duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including OSHA and EPA.

Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned within the  scope of knowledge, skills and abilities of the incumbent
