Senior Project Associate

  Context

Fondée en 1951, l’OIM est la principale organisation intergouvernementale dans le domaine de la migration et travaille en étroite collaboration avec les partenaires gouvernementaux, intergouvernementaux et non gouvernementaux. L’OIM est dédiée à la promotion de la migration humaine et ordonnée pour le bénéfice de tous. Elle le fait en fournissant des services et des conseils aux gouvernements et aux migrants.

Sous la supervision générale du Chef de Mission (CoM), la supervision directe technique des chefs de projets (GAVI et PAMOZ) en collaboration avec les services compétents, et la supervision administrative du Chef de Sous-Bureau, le candidat retenu soutiendra les  activités liées au projet « GAVI » sur les questions de santé notamment la vaccination en faveur des enfants et les populations sous-vaccinées dans les zones frontalières et à forte mobilité dans les districts de sante de Garoua-boulaï et Kette dans la région de l’Est du Cameroun. Il interviendra aussi sur le projet « PAMOZ » en lien avec la Migration et au commerce et celles liées à la mobilité du travail (LMI) de l'OIM afin d'exploiter le potentiel de développement de la migration et d'optimiser les avantages de la migration de la main-d'œuvre au profit des sociétés et des migrants, le petit commerce transfrontalier des femmes contribuant ainsi au développement durable et à la réduction de la pauvreté.

Education

License en économie, sciences politiques ou sociales, en relations internationales, en études du développement, en études sur les migrations, en droits de l'homme, en droit ou dans des domaines connexes d'un établissement universitaire accrédité avec quatre ans d’expérience pertinente, ou

Diplôme d’études secondaires avec six ans d’expérience pertinente. 

Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.   Experience

Expérience dans les relations avec les autorités gouvernementales, les institutions nationales ou internationales, les organismes des Nations Unies et les organisations non gouvernementales ; 

Expérience dans le travail avec des migrants, des réfugiés, des personnes déplacées à l'intérieur de leur propre pays, des victimes de la traite et d'autres groupes vulnérables ;

Skills

Connaissance approfondie du large éventail de domaines liés aux migrations traités par l'Organisation,

Connaissance des Nations Unies et des programmations des donateurs bilatéraux.

Connaissance du Règlement financier et des réglementations des Nations Unies.

Languages

Maîtrise du français (oral et écrit)

Connaissance des langues locales (Région de l’Est)
