JOB SUMMARY:
The Customer Service Account Manager is the primary liaison between customer and Able Aerospace Services for all jobs in house.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicates with Customers weekly/daily for in work jobs, via phone, email and helps resolve customer questions on jobs/quotes.
- Travels to trade shows to promote sales and growth based on customer platform.
- Manages customers quote approvals and provide additional quotes, if necessary.
- Help facilitates customer bill backs or invoice concerns with other internal groups.
- Effectively supports the detailed tracking of multiple jobs in house.
- Oversees product exchanges and returns to ensure timely return of products.
- Communicates and collaborates with various departments with the company.
- Understand Customers Business model (MRO, Operators, etc).
- Work with customers on any Warranty issues/returns.
- Help international customers with customs and freight questions.
- Work with the engineering department on engineering order creation, Fee’s and Rev’s.
- Research pricing, turnaround time new repairs, and assist inside sales in request for quotes as needed, for both domestic and international customers.
- Work with Accounting and/or customers to resolve any past due amounts or credits.
- Understand and update customer contracts and agreements, as needed.
- Update customer quality control requirements, contacts, etc.
- Create full deployment plan for customers.
- Work within Able’s Online library’s Component Maintenance Manual/Illustrated Parts Catalog
- Monitor Customer Aircraft on Ground phone 24/7 on a rotational basis.
- Work with Trade Compliance team to ensure customers are vetted prior to doing business
Qualifications
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- In lieu of a degree, 4 years of experience in a customer relationship, management, manufacturing, or aviation maintenance related role required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- General aircraft knowledge preferred.
- Helicopter knowledge preferred.
- Above average communication skills (written and verbal) - Clear concise writing style featuring consistently correct grammar and spelling.
- Ability to listen carefully and discern specific customer requirements.
- A heightened attention to detail and consistent follow-through in spite of a dynamic working environment.
- Experience with technical publications (IPC/IPB, CMM/OHM/CR&O, MX manuals/airworthiness limitations, AD/SB/ASB/Etc.) is preferred.
- Highly functional with Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with outside entities and contacts.
