In this role, you'll support strategic initiatives and operational improvements by leveraging data and analytical insights. You'll be involved in the lifecycle of analytical projects, from data analysis to supporting stakeholders. Your main responsibilities will include turning complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations to support decision-making. You'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure data is not only accessible but also impactful.
As a Strategy & Operations Analyst Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to understand key metrics, data sources, and business goals
- Taking ownership of the end-to-end data lifecycle, including data management, conducting ad-hoc analysis, and designing, developing, and maintaining analytical solutions, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Translating complex data into clear, actionable insights, proactively identifying trends and anomalies, and communicating findings effectively
- Acting as a partner to internal organizations by shaping metrics that reflect team performance and product impact.
- Demonstrating a proactive approach to drive projects and initiatives from beginning to end
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics or Data Science or its equivalent work experience
- Have expertise in SQL for working with large datasets , ideally with tools like Tableau or PowerBI
- Possess the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and proactively identify data quality issues
- Be comfortable in agile environments, managing multiple priorities, and independently driving projects from discovery through delivery.

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $51,200 - $106,200/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
