IE University’s School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs (SPEGA) seeks applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in Comparative Politics at the rank of Assistant Professor starting September 1, 2026.
Successful candidates will join the Political Science and International Relations group within SPEGA, which consists of 16 tenured and tenure-track scholars studying comparative politics, international relations, and political economy. Recent publications from this group appear in APSR, AJPS, JOP, BJPS, and many other top generalist and field outlets.
The IE SPEGA is part of IE University, located in Madrid and Segovia, Spain. We are a fast-growing department of professors committed to world-class academic research and teaching in the social sciences, public policy, and international affairs.

Qualifications
Candidates should have a PhD from a recognized department of political science, international relations, public policy, or related field, or demonstrate clear evidence that their PhD will be complete by July, 2026.
