Located in beautiful Northern California, Adventist Health Clear Lake has been a leading healthcare provider in Lake County since 1968. We are comprised of a 25-bed critical access hospital and provide primary and specialty care services at clinics throughout the Lake, Butte & Tehama County areas to best serve our communities. 

Job Summary:

Supports operation, inspections, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. Assists others on operations and facilities team or third-party vendors in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing system and lighting.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
  • Relevant industrial/commercial maintenance experience: Preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Performs assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations. Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested.
  • Completes general interior maintenance, such as, hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems and repairing doors. Assists the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed.
  • Performs all work with a strong customer service or servant heart mentality and presence. Escalates problems or issues to customer and manager in a timely manner.
  • Updates work order status in real time. Utilizes CMMS systems such as 360 Facility for all work performed.
  • Complies with all safety procedures, maintains good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognizes danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them. Maintains compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws. Attends work and safety meetings as required.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
