We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to execute the financial accounting process through finalizing the month-end financial statements, verification of petty cash payments, maintenance of fixed assets register and managing the auditing process in order to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting of the relevant SBUs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and coordinate with business teams or plants and 3rd party customers or vendors to carry out smooth day to day operations.
• Manage the assigned KPI’s and carry out structured monitoring mechanisms to analyze the progress to support the department requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements of the Plant by updating and maintaining the relevant accounting records in accordance with the Group accounting standards.
• Adherence to policies, procedures and controls to ensure zero instances of misrepresentations of financials.
• Assist in the maintenance of the accuracy of Fixed Asset register as per Group accounting standards, asset count and follow the set procedure for CAPEX approval.
• Assist in the timely and quality completion of year-end audit timelines issued by Group Finance.
• Assist the Financial Accountant in liaising with the IRD and the Central Tax team in connection with all tax related work and timely submission of tax returns or payments or assessments.
• Adherence to policies, procedures to achieve a 100% KCFR results for Legato and comply with other regulatory requirements.
• Assist with the timely collection of sales proceeds and timely clearance of customer receipts.

Knowledge And Skills

• Degree in Finance or Accounting and full or part qualification in CIMA or CA.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Should have hands-on experience with the year-end financial statement preparation and external audit processes.
