Job Summary:
Arconic Tennessee Operations is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer for our Tennessee Operations facility. The incumbent will provide engineering support to maintenance and operations. The successful incumbent will support safety, restoring product flow, providing technical solutions to recurring design and process problems, analyze equipment and process data to identify opportunities for improvement, and develop solutions and system improvements to address those opportunities. This person will also develop, manage and implement capital projects, major repairs and maintenance projects and provide some process engineering support.

In This Role, You Will:
- Provide engineering support to maintenance and operations across the department including restoring flow during breakdowns and developing preventative maintenance systems (including during the off shift)
- Troubleshoot equipment and process problems to root cause, providing engineered solutions to these problems
- Manage large equipment rebuilds – development, justification, management and implementation of these projects
- Develop into the technical equipment expertise for the department and provide technical leadership
- Support the department’s Quality, Safety, and Environmental goals
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college/university
- Must have completed an internship with Arconic.
- Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
