Produce Manager

Riverbend Co-op Food Store in Outlook is recruiting a Produce Manager!

This isn’t your typical back-room leadership role. You’ll be front and centre, supporting the produce team, making smart decisions on the floor, and ensuring everything from quality control to sales targets is on point. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and know how to bring out the best in your team, this might be the next step for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Setting and achieving department goals related to sales, margins, and inventory.
• Analyzing reports and trends to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.
• Leading, coaching, and training team members.
• Supporting customer service and resolving issues on the spot.
• Working closely with the Store Manager to roll out new ideas and improvements.
• Making sure the produce department is fresh, organized, and up to our high standards.
• You’ll have support from the Store Manager when it comes to bigger decisions or unique situations; but day-to-day, you’ll be the go-to person for all things produce.

What You Bring:

• A solid background in customer service (ideally 3+ years).
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Confidence in making decisions, giving feedback, and solving problems.
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a good sense of humour never hurts.
• The ability to stay cool under pressure and keep the team moving in the right direction.

Who You’Ll Be Leading:

• Produce Clerks and Produce Students.
• You’ll also provide informal guidance and leadership to other team members in the store.
