Under general supervision of the Operations Manager, Senior Echo sonographers and according to established policies and procedures, performs echocardiograms to produce diagnostic data assessing heart function and capability to be used by the cardiologist to enhance the care and treatment of the patient. In doing so, obtains pertinent patient information and explains the purpose and duration of testing to the patients. Reviews results and arranges reports for physician review. Provides other diagnostic testing within scope of practice.

We are hiring for an Associate Echocardiograph Technologist position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!
Position is full-time, 0.9 FTE, 8-hr Variable shifts, 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training - Successful completion of an accredited Echo sonography program.
- National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire or,
- National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 6 months - Experience as a sonographer
